enthusiasm in the galleries, more especially the Louvre, with its masses of portraiture. What [[convincing?]] lessons, what excellent teaching! One becomes much absorbed in Paris, the days are so short - and so full. The distances so great, that as yet you have probably had but little time to visit any of the studios of Americans. This, with private collections and smaller exhibitions, can all be accomplished later. What an advantage the cours at "Salon" will be to you, it would seem
