The baby is here for the afternoon- Emma offered to keep him and let Lizzie go to the S.S. anniversary as Martha was going to Cousho.- We had communion this A.M. Last time you were with us Mother went today - it was a fine day and she was so happy to go. Mr Dickson was very nice - he read a great deal out of the Bible but did not make any address except a very short one after the service. Etta and both boys were there. The first time Harry had stayed. We thought of you - I do hope your stay in the wicked City of Paris, will not be for the disadvantage of your better self. I must confess there seems to be great danger in having so many influences tending towards irreligious and to be without one's own regular [[left side of page]] quite a number of faults in drawing in her portrait of Mrs Russel's sister. Mrs. Grayson is very much troubled about Clifford's health - if you have any encouragement to give her on the subject, she will be thankful. Thursday AM. Annie E came and we are enjoying her visit.
