The only other thing we have done that could possible be called imprudent was our walking home with Mr Rhinehart and Mr Greyson from The [[---k's?]] - and my taking a Sunday afternoon walk with little "Billy Ellicott" the [[first?]] little Phila [[prig?]] that ever lived who would perish before he would do any thing not comme il faut.—  Now Mr Greyson has invited me to go with him to 'vernissage' on his ticket if they will allow him to take anyone else in - It is a perfectly delightful thing to do as he will tell me who all the

people are, and besides it costs a lot to go in unless you are taken. It is in the daytime, and every one knows that an exhibitor can only take one person.   We shall be walking about meeting our friends and talking promiscuously just as at one of our exhibs - And Cecil says it is improper.   But I think that Mr Greyson has lived here a much longer time than Cecil and knows many more people, and he is so thorroghly [[thoroughly]] nice that he would not have asked me to do anything questionable.   However we shall see. Perhaps he cannot take me.   We have been invited to a ball and to a masquerade party but neither of them
