9 tuned, with out asking - A Miss Davis, a Boston Brookline lady great friend of the Conants - stout jolly spinster went with us. She is so much like Mrs Bickham and the Warrens that I asked her if she knew them and she said "Yes she knew them well!" The Cathedral was lovely and had a little fine glass in it - most however had been restored and this is always ugly - but Quimper was what I imagined a small European town to be.
