Monday—  May has gone today for the first time to Lazar's. Then she is going to the Austins to go to a church with them - I am at home but not feeling badly and was able to go to the cours this morning—  May started off with Miss Conant a nice Boston girl who is here with her Mother Aunt and Cousin - All good New England substantial—  Americans are nicer than French and no mistake.  The Conants have a room over ours and have to go in for their meals too—  A new little French Madame sits next me at table and I am improving in the language—
