in a populous part of the beach— I also saw a most respectable family party on the beach the other day - Grandpa & Grandma, Aunt or Mother, Uncle, and a much adored and attended to small girl of about seven - the Aunt either to amuse the child or keep her company had rolled up her clothes above her knees and she and 'la petite' were wading - attended and chattered to by all the rest - who did not, however, act as if it were an unusual occurrence— But imagine me doing the same on the beach at B.H.! She had nice white legs - this photo is me - beside a Druid Stone - over at Beg Meil - (this is pronounced 'beg-may') sorry I hav'nt a more interesting one to send, but May has'nt taken any lately— I must tell you one of the speeches of a small boy to Kate Kinsella the other day - they think we are all Anglaises - and after watching me curiously for some minutes he said 'Is it forbidden to paint in England?" To be sure what other reason could we have for coming here!

With many blessings on you all - Your L.
