This afternoon I went all over maps and guide books with Lucy and planned our trip.  If Miss Boyer agrees, we are to go, straight from Paris to Lucerne stay in Lucerne two days or more perhaps - Milan Venice - (4 days) Florence (10 days) - Rome perhaps Naples - back to Rome Pisa Genoa Avignon, by the Riviera Nîmes and Arles.   Siena we shall take as a trip while in Florence, shall have to pass through Nice Cannes and Monaco - without stopping - on way back.  I am determined to see Nîmes & Avignon.  I have written down everything pensions and all, most of them are 5 to 6 francs a day.  We shall take as luggage only what we can carry in our hands - no trunks.  We hope to leave Paris Monday night as the trip

I have nothing here now that I could leave that is a [[as]] good as what I can do, and with the help that I should have now, on account of Mr Lasar and Mr Harrisons interest as well as Mr Julian's it is a chance I might never have again.  By living very economically I can afford to stay.

As I said before Grandma is the main thing, though I realize about the studio and Mrs Dillingham, and all the lesser strings that would draw me home.  To say nothing for that is not necessary of all my other ones at home whom I wish to have more proud of me than ever.

I asked Mr Harrison the other day what he really thought of my staying over, that I could not
