Grandma is reading a story out of the "Observer" to Harry.
Jamie and the baby are in the kitchen with Emma and Eliza. The Drinkers all came home last night - they have a large tribe, including Emma Leavitt and Belle - and three servants. Belle branched off to New York, as Laurie had sent for her to come there as he is going to Buffalo on Monday and probably she will go too. We are likely to get hardly any visit at all, as they seem to be making up their minds to go back soon to Montana. = Uncle Will is actually free of Paoli at last, but he has been in town all day and Aunt Emily has gone over this afternoon to see her relations. She and I have made three trips to the Park this last week - in search of health - once we took Mother. We have to change cars in Market street now but we are transferred. There is a new little restaurant just at the entrance where we took Mother to get a cup of tea and rest while I took a walk over to the gardens.
