You do not read much of course - so we shall know lots that you do not and shall look superior down on your ignorance

We have seen Mabel Bacon - she is splendid such rosy cheeks and bright eyes. They are all tumbled in to their house - and [[Mazie?]] is taking the burden of everything - with "Len" who seems to be the other steady one. Aunt Emily called on them but only stayed a minute. They are all full of the wedding of course. I do not see how Dr Bacon can sit down in a pew and listen. I do not believe he will. What is to become of them all I do not see. It grows dark and I am wondering whether Emma is out. And if we are to get tea and light up.

After tea. Emma is out, in her room - We have a jolly time getting tea - making milk toast - cottage cheese - etc.— What is May going to do? Go back to Paris? Shall you go to England if you decide to take another course in Paris. If Mr H.'s portrait is good, what are you going to do with it? Will it be yours? Can May stay over this winter?

We are invited to the Landell's to hear the Austrian lady play! We have seen her she is little and plain, but looks very soulfull.
