He is in London today bidding his noble family goodbye and gathering up his regiment - off for India tomorrow. What a scatterment of our little party. Hoeber to America - Radcliffe to England & India and we to Italy. Mr. Harrison will stay in Concarneau until Nov. 15.

The Italian trip is simple enough at present. We have been to Gaye's office where we got the round trip ticket - which taking in Rome and Naples Nimes & Avignon & Arles - on the way back - will be about $51. If we are gone 38 days (we have calculated every hour nearly.) 7 francs a day for living, sometimes it will be more some times less, will bring our living expenses to about $53 and we 

will then have about 20 for extras - as I have allowed $125- for each of us. That was the amount of my present from Mr [[Thrill?]] & Miss Mary Brown. The ticket leaving out Rome and Naples would be about $38 and it seems a pity to let them go. Though I am going to want every penny I have  We have lots of Pension addresses and with my Baedaeker and all my notes I might not to blunder I am quite sure we shall however sometimes; but I shall do my best to ward it off and try to keep my head level. After this however I am sure I shall never be afraid of anything.
