went out to walk - to [[W_aris?W_an's?]] & took a cab home. & she walked up into my room & said very quietly, "Je vais le marier"! I was expecting to hear it, but not just that way -- She was too sweet & cute about him for any thing, & I saw him (before any thing happened) & he looked very good & nice. If he only leaves her here all winter I shall love him myself. He is coming back in 4 months. 

It is killing to see Harry ride his new bicycle at the school he looks so stylish & sits so straight & gracefully. It is a new safe kind, two wheels same size, one behind the other, you may see them in England. Cecil loves "Doedie" & calls her all the time. I must go. Your only sister
