I think it the best joke in the world that Mr. Ferris should ask Uncle Will to sit for him. I hope he will. Though it makes me mad as he never would for me. It is nice that Miss V. S. should take the studio. Perhaps I'll do my art in it yet. Mr. Powell thinks the best has been done in painting - but it has'nt all the same. I'd like to do him - and I'd like to teach him something and have him teach me. How nice it would be to have Uncle Will here with this crowd.
