will come over and take a room in this hotel and as Magaret [[Margaret]] L.B.B. is established with a new son at 119 rue N.D. des Champs I am in the midst of my friends.  Conants are not very near - are in the rue de la Chaussée-d'Antin - other side - to be near Leroux with whom Lucy is studying—

Fiday [[Friday]] eve.  There I did'nt get this off for the Saturday steamer and you will all be disappointed not to find anything in Uncle Will's yellow envelope. 
Tonight we have a little wood fire lighted and all going to dine at home; that is in my room - You are not fed in this house, unless you want to be, and we are generally going to take our dinner in a little gem of a restaurant almost next door - F. Esté showed it to us, and they often go there. 
It is the first restaurant we have seen here that is what I have always expected a Parisian to be - modest - cheap - neat and good.  It shines with neatness and respectability—  The little room

8.30 PM. Thanksgiving Day - mo Night -

My dearest Grandma—

I am in bed - in linen sheets in a little attic chamber - in an old street - for we are just in our new Quarters - this afternoon - and I thought I must write you a word on this day though I went to bed for fear of taking cold, as we did'nt want to light a fire—   May and I think we are Tobias's And that the Angel is about all the time, because we are led to such good things—  This is the Hotel where the Estés live.  They are directly under us.  We are - in the 4th story - and have two rooms, one medium sized at 30 frcs a month, one 20 - which May has.  It is tiny.  They are side by side, but not communicating—  Doors however open almost into each other.  Quite cute when we get them fixed.  Each have windows facing South And so we shall have sun when there is any— 
These days since we got to Paris have
