and taking lunch there without any change - which makes them ill in any studio - and I have been in such bad smells so much this summer that I think that staying only 3½ hours and having plenty of fresh air besides will keep me straght [[straight]] - if I do it I may find that it will be better to go to the rue de Berri—  We are in a perfectly healthy place here - And have all the air and sunshine there is—    Uncle Will shan'nt had time to read over all your letters and talk business yet  Though I dont think there is much to say—  I want to get this off now and have it go by South Hampton, and will begin another letter tomorrow.  I mailed [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] the Mortgage paper - yesterday would have sent it at once only I had to look about even for that envelope—
Oh that front railing — but it makes me sad to think that I shant go in buy [[by]] that dear old gate again—  I feel like hurrying to get back there
