Dearest Auntie,

We had a great rejoicing over your letter the other day. Jamie was delighted to have his name on the outside, & Harry put on his boots and took it up to Grandma's in the pouring rain - I did not like to keep it from them ten minutes.

By this time you are done with your trip & its glories and are, I suppose, today or tomorrow on your way to Paris again. We await eagerly your emotions in Florence. It was too bad about your tooth, poor thing. The plate with the absent tooth was very sad as well as amusing. I do not see how you did it with the shoe buttoner. The boys have such nice lessons, & are [[being?]] very so carefully taught
