Vice Pres! of Lehigh Valley & a great friend of H.S.D) died last Saturday, nearly 84, & buried on Tuesday with all friendly ceremonies,- sat an hour in the house &c &c,- & a great concourse of Quakers, Copes, Shoemakers, Haines, Scattergoods, & Garretts no end, - one of the last [[written over: latter]] an aunt of Thomas the decedent, 91 years old, unmarried, vigorous & sprightly, much more active & strong than your Grandmother,—  Did I tell you that I had a call here from Mr. Thouron a little while ago?  Blieve I did.  We are now beginning to wonder how you will settle yourselves for the winter, & whether the Austins will come to Paris.  We think the tide is low with them, & they may be aground in Caudebec.
