Dec. 7/88—

Dearest Polly—

I fear this part of our Xmas will come a little too soon but Uncle Will is determined to have it go off today so I put in the little blossoms from the boys.

Stick them all over you, & associate each with its particular boy - Baby took his in his little hand & said "boxey, boxey", he was charmed with the little box & wanted to play with it. He always puts ey on the end of any thing very choice. My present to you is by the next mail. I want it to get there on Xmas day. I hope May will adorn her puffs with my little pin - just for a Xmas card you know.
