taken "early in the morning"— I woke in what I thought was the dim grey dawn of nearly 7. [[strikethrough]] And [[/strikethrough]] as I heard a three-quarters strike outside - I managed to make the combination of fire works in blue and white papers - in the dark and took it fizzing — and was just making up my mind to get up and rap for May so as to have a good early start when the "Senat" Clock struck 3. And it was not dawn but a dim sort of moonlight Dr H also gave me a tonic which is so strong that it smokes when you take the cork out of the bottle and tastes like Hoesford only much stronger — I hav'nt taken it to day and tomorrow shall take it again, only weaker than she prescribed, as I really feel very well now —
