I am so glad you were so pleased with the little pins. I knew you would appreciate the sentiment.
I have just put Cecil into Jamie's little plaited piqué dresses - & he looks like a real boy, with his hair cut short.  You never saw a child fairly sparkle as he does, & so wonderfully affectionate.  He came & laid his cheek against my hand the other day as I lay on the sofa & said two or three times - "Cunning [[Loving?]] Mama".  He says "Auntie Leilie" now when he sees your picture.  Give my love to May, & thank her for her dear little note.      Poor Dr Bacon - I exploded over your reference to him in your letter to Grandma.  Do you know I cannot bear the sight of him any more.
