Tuesday AM. - Ah Leilie! Miss Emery is one of the most wonderful - almost superhuman - beings! She was here yesterday evening. We are all dumb struck. It is not only her playing, but her whole self - her superhuman memory - as well sight memory as musical. She plays everything and has never forgotten anything. She is full of fire and passion like Rubinstein and Chopin in one. It is vain to attempt to describe her. She comes from a little town on the borders of Romania, close to Russia - was trained at Leipsic [[Leipzig]] where she lives. She is full of appreciation of everything. I hope she will still be here when you come. You know she is the guest of the Lundell's. She is a little creature with a very broad forehead and great wide open eyes - a [[Knell?]] of unfathomable gray. I should think she would burn out soon - it does not seem as if a delicate frame like that could hold such a spirit long. I haven't played a note for her yet. It
