Studio make the fire there every morning so its always nice and warm when I get there, and as it only cost 20 cts a week it pays—  I do very little housework of any kind now—  Now that we are going to the evening cours of course we are saved the "fire & light" evenings, but it is rather cheerless to come home to a black stove and a chilly room - but we go right to bed so it dont matter—

We like Colorossi's very much  It is rough there but the class is a very nice one, almost entirely English and American, and many of the girls our friends—  Miss Webster & Dabney

Bryer, Scotter, Stanley - (a very nice girl, American, daughter of General Stanley - knows Agnes Holabird and told me the other day that she had just heard she was married to a Dr Randolph—  Miss S. is 'forte' and draws extremely well - was a pupil of Lasar's)

It is very weird at Colorossi's going there at night—  We went with Miss Scotter and after passing through a hall of a house, desended into a strange court gleaming with broken statues, and bas-relief's, models standing around with a little flickering light falling on them - then up and up
