send Georgie up to sleep at Grandma's. Cliffy slept in Eliza's bed, & was called by her name by Harry when he waked in the morning! Surprise all around.

I expect Emma & Canby to dinner as the latter having holiday has to come & take some pictures of Roy & the boys. Rob Large has just been posing Jamie & Johnny with their arms around each other, they are so dear & cute I do hope it may be good. Georgie has had a letter, at last & every thing is couleur de rose, & Peel is "an angel" of course. As I fail to think so we do not converse much on the subject. I can rejoice to see her happy anyhow, she sleeps at night & looks so peaceful & glad again. He says he is coming the end
