all girls I know of nearly have been trying "Salons" and have either scraped them out or burnt them up - I hav'nt seen Klumpke or Bilinska's but I suppose they are successes—
Mr. Lasar is doing another unsuccessful portrait of the eldest Miss Kinsella—  He [[is/'s - missing]] going to send Mrs Esté's portrait to the Salon and one which is coming from America (I suppose his Boyle) to the Ex—
Harrison has given up getting his big picture done - Says it would do to send but feels he can make it better so he has to bear the mortification of not doing what the public expects of him——
Altogether - I suppose of all
