makes them all believe they can see beautifully and tells them they have as much room as if they were on the Place de la Concorde—    I am painting a head as I wanted to have a correction for painting since it is Benjamin Constant's week. 

There are mostly horrid chattering French girls a few Americans (the two strongest there at present are Americans) and a few nice looking English girls—

There is one superb woman an American from Buffalo though she seems too swell for that—  Her name is Mrs Glenny and she is here with her husband and two little children—  She looks like Miss Sanford glorified and young with golden hair - very tall and with a fine figure   I think I'll adopt her way of fixing her hair as I'm sure it would be becoming to me - something like this. It is parted all the way back and rolled from the front in the old fashioned way— [[image]]

There are no princesses at The Passage at present, but she would do for one—  I forgot to say that she fastens it back in front each side with a little comb - made of oxydized [[oxidized]] silver and rhinestones or - maybe they are little diamonds— 

Today I gave Amelie my number so that M. Julian can boost me at the Salon - She asked me for it - but even that may not do it. There are such [[text continues on page 43]]
