expressions for French feminine excitement - 'Oh Mon Shar [[Cher]] mon dieu mon dieu" - ad infinitum  "Imbécile!"  "Ah mon petit pordel [[bordel]] blanc!"  (This is affection with one's arm around anothers neck)  "Oh mon petit amour"!  "Ca m'agace! [[Ça m'agacé!]]"  etc, etc, etc.  
This is all my news of this week.
Florence Esté is about well now and goes out—
We had dear little Dagnan last night at Colorossi's and he praised my drawing
There has been a ball at Colorossi's - the first Convenable Students ball ever given in Paris—  Some of the English girls went and had a nice time   Amsden went in his Roman costume and looked stunning they said—  Bishop, a nice

shy little English boy a great friend of Florence Esté went in an awful costume quite out of character for him—  He was himself, in evening dress, swallow tail  white shirt front and all - to the waist, and the rest was full ballet costume, full tulle skirts tights and white slippers with white satin ribbon wound around the ankle—  The girls all refused to dance with him but he beared it out—  He dont seem to have known how vulgar it was because Amsden said afterwards in defending Bishop - "He had a great many more clothes on than I had"—
