[[left page]] while they were in the act— The time I want to sail is about the 1st of July - to be in England the last two weeks of June— Thogh [[Though]] that would make a horrid getting home in the heat etc when I am not used to it— And I should have to go home to Emma Jones, only, and unpack my things etc - and much fun would be lost - but one cant have every thing and in order to get home before you all break up - I should have to leave here about the middle of May in order to have two weeks in England— I dont know yet whether or when Maud Du Puy Darwin [[right page]] 30 rue Vaugirard— Sunday March 31st [[archival note:]] 90 [[1890]] My dearest Sister— May and I have spent the day out - went to church to the rue de Berrie [[Berri]], then to lunch with our dear Conants in their bright new apartment, in the rue Lauriston, then to the Austins, then bought our supper - liver paté - two English Muffins, butter, and a Cake - this washed down with some of our good wine, made a very good supper - and now the dishes are washed, and we have settled down to write— It will be so nice to have [[margin]] Dont know yet whether I have a "numero" or not Much love to Sallie— [[/margin]]
