clean cups spoons etc for break to morrow - now that we go off so early and come home so late - we we only wash our dishes about once a week and its horrid—
Constance looks wan, and is so sweet and patient & unselfish.  She is a pattern to us—
Your last letter made me feel worried - I had no idea of staying over there this summer - I dont really wish to, although I wish the spring were longer for work in the cours—  But I shall certainly come in the early summer now, and feel fidgety to get back—

They have always written of Grandma as so well and serene and bright that I have not realized that she was failing - and when Aunt Emily remarked in her last letter to Aunt Sarah and Aunt Eliza in hers to me, quite casually, that Grandma would not try to go to church again - it made me feel dreadfully.
I should miss a great deal if I tried to get off or to get home before the family take the summer flight—  And if I do not do that - there would not be much use in my getting home
