stockings and sandals laced up with lavender ribbons—  She was stunning—  I was a 16 Century lady, but as there was no exaggeration in the dress and it was awfully becoming  I am going to wear the waist in Cambridge, so I dont grudge the time I gave to make it as I did it all in the evenings except what I did yesterday—

This is something the way I looked only I hope my legs looked longer  My train ( [[strikethrough]] from [[/strikethrough]] Amsdin's curtain) was green and silver brocade edged with gold lace. The front of the dress white nuns veiling full with a green & gold ribbon across the bottom—  The corsage was lovely

You did rejoice my heart with your birthday letter and Cecil's photo—  
I dont wonder you were crazy to send it to me—  Its perfectly bewitching, especially the one with the mouth pursed up - and he is such a combination of Harry and Jamie and you—  I hope he'll like me—  I'll be a perfect stranger to him and he'll be so puzzled with my resemblance to you—  He looks so fat and well - and of a cuteness!
