Morots Good Samaritan (I have a small photo of this Annie sent me once) In the English - Millais - [[right side]] Gladstone— Stands above Bonnat and all the rest of them - because only Gladstone is in it— It comes mighty near being on a level with Titian and Rembrandt— I only thought that being a representative portrait of such a man it looked a little tired— Frank Holl too has a superb portrait of a noble-looking too fresh to be called old—, man, white haired will do - It has'nt quite the soul of Millais, but then his is Gladstone— Herkomer has two women's portraits one dark beauty and one
