In London the railroad company put me with my luggage, down at my Hotel (101 Southampton Row.) It was drizzling in London, and I understand it generally is. 

My room is comfortable, and reasonable in price. Shall write later more about my impressions. 
Sunday - Breakfast at nine. Cold day - Set out for Westminster Abbey, walked a long way, took a bus and arrived at the Abbey at 10 o'clock. Until I had seen this wonderful structure, it had been hard for me to feel that I was in a strange land. The beauty of Westminster, and the Houses of Parliament was inspiring. With the others I went inside. The church was filled with music, services just commenced. The grandness of the
