My dear Parents. 

Wednesday last I went with the Fords to the great concert Hubilich the violinist played marvelously. He is a wonder, the Fords were very kind to invite me. It was a proud treat. Instead of making me feel discouraged regards my own attempts it acted as a tonic. Thursday I spent in making calls and seeing exhibitions. Sargent and Tradema are both spending these holidays in the country Noston was in. He is well had two of his canvases in the Academy refused. Think of that. The committee is
