Today I received two engraved invitations one for a wedding on Pleasant street another an invitation to participate in the Buffalo exhibit. A letter from dear 'Sis' was received last Tuesday. Your Sargent cutting also. From Ben's account should judge your present summer quarters were rather under par.

Your music you sent us, I have played a hundred times. I say us - Because every one here has played my accompaniments, and we all appreciate your gift.

The Sargent photo's I shall put on my studio wall.

You ask about next winter I am going to remain here. Am going to paint two pictures for each Salon. Send the portrait of Miss Ford to the Academy London. Shall finish next winter. Its not all done yet the crust is not brown
