My dear Parents-

Yesterday afternoon a man called at the studio. He was told to call at my hotel as me, [[strikethrough]] was [[strikethrough]] occupied still [[strikethrough]] there in [[striketrhough]] my art manufacturing. At the Hotel he wrote a note saying he wished to buy some paintings, and would I call the next morning on his agent in Paris. I did. And explaining my style to forth showing photos, he decided that my work was saleable. He is a dealer of works of art in New Castle England. And my name was given him by a Canadian I met in London. He said he understood my work was somewhat like Sir Lawrence Tadema's, in regards to finish. Now you know that is just in my line, or rather all I have to do is to repeat my performance of the old sculptor.
