My dear Father -

Monday afternoon I attended Mrs. F's afternoon tea - I met Mrs. Ashbee who is entertaining the Whitneys at present. They are the well to do family of Boston - Mrs. Ashbee's husband left a notable collection of pictures to the Kensington Art Museum. 

I am convinced by the quality of the New Gallery art show that there is a great opening there for a young portrait painter. And Mr. Ford
