Friends as the Fords and my evenings are much pleasanter than those spent in Paris - I make new friends each day and the winter promises to be one of advance.
Please send me Miss Philips address the Herald Correspondent - I have use for her - My next letter will I trust be of interest and contain my winter address - I am well full of courage and trust you are all well at home - Love to all and the baby -

You see any of the studios will cost rather to much, for the term payments in a three hundred dollar studio are shrinking on a hundred dollars - So here each month I must save at least twenty dollars a month to help me over the payment of these quarterly terms. 

I shall settle in a studio as soon as I receive some money - Did Father ever receive my letter explaining my plans and mentioning money affairs?
