My dear Parents:
I find today a letter I wrote to you on Dec 4th which I send it was in my overcoat which had been put aside - For fourteen days I have not heard from you, and as this never happened before I am dreadfully worried, and have all kinds of painful feelings -
How much it does put a chap out not to hear from home. You can imagine my feelings perhaps for my delayed letter [[strike-through]] and I trust [[/strike-through]] probably worried you in the same way - I am impatient to hear about you all, and Mother especially. Please write -
As to myself I am in a fair way to make some little money by black and white illustrations for Black and White the second best weekly in London
