patience I may get something to do.

I am going to dinner there tomorrow night - I have been painting every day all day for the last two weeks - and working hard - So hard that I have not touched black and white for one week. But shall commence as soon as this rush of work is over.

In the morning at eight oclock my old slavey comes in and makes break fast cleans up the place and at nine I commence to work lighting my gas fire - I have
- two studies of mother and child
- one portrait of two boys and
- a portrait of a little girl
- and a large composition, also
- an Interior, all these are being carefully worked upon these days - Well at noon my old lady cooks a substantial meal I go to work again - and at night five oclock tea is served by the old lady -

Pennell has lost his job as critic for the 'Chronicle' and I imagine he is rather pinched.

Love to all
