And a great loan was floated this evening, Which has occupied a number of strong men for some weeks -- I do not know whether Dillaway knows these new friends of mine; not daring to mention his coming here. - Realizing that it was not my business, or wise to mention his name. - but if he does not and he fails to place his bonds and securities - I shall that is if he calls on me before leaving offer to introduce him, - and   may be in that way of some use - even assistance.

I am doing a lot of thinking a lot about my future - as you can judge by my last letter - and was pleased to learn although we were some miles apart our minds were in the same channel - More later
