Oct 16, 1901,
My dear Father.
I forward you the Sampson note as your request. Hope it is all right. Have had Homer and all our family in mind of late. I feel queer and felt more so [[strikethrough]] to then [[/strikethrough]] last night when I figured by my watch that he was being married. Of course you will forward me - all the details
Have not heard lately from Robert. Am well and getting down to work. I thank you for the allowance. Have received your 100 hundred dollars, and am well fixed.
McPherson had a hemmoradge. I don't know how to spell it. It occurred last night. He has been much better since. If any thing serious should happen, I shall cable you immediately.
I do hope you are all well.
The students are returning. Paris in this quarter is flourishing. Enthusiasm is in the air.
I am working in the schools, and living in a hotel.
Everything is all right don't worry-
With love
William
