unfortunate happening. But is about over. Shall write later about details-.
Next month my Salon work is to be started. Have several subjects but, no one real favorite-
My best work will be sent, and if any is left over I will send to London.
I visited the Beaux Art.
Went through all their lecture rooms, and store rooms of art treasure, it is a richly endowed school - But I have decided it is a poor place to study in. They rob a man of his individuality and throw him out later, a mechanical machine -
They have not got such a good record as many of the private institutions.
My desire to improve is lifting my work up, and I am thankful that this year for study is before me. I am already planning for home, and work there.
Hope you are all well, and improving in [[strikethrough]] and [[/strikethrough]] that game of billiards and that you won't worry about me as I am well, happy, and working-
Yours, William
