here out of painting if individual work is accomplished. I have been to two first nights and enjoyed one immensely. Each night Mr. Ford and I dress for dinner and go to the Club. We only eat the noon meal here.

My new clothes are approved of by Mr. F. They are exceedingly stylish, and never before have I been dressed so well. I can go to church every morning without a blush now, and in good Scotch [[?]] cloths your son is rather a noticeable man.

I am very anxious to get to work in Paris and leave for there on the main boat Friday the 19th.

Williston Ford is a son of Mr. F--he is studying at Andover which is only twenty miles from Boston. His parents would appreciate any little attention, such as asking to come down some Saturday night to spend Sunday - and Homer could do a great deal to entertain him. May would like him immensely. He is a very quick learner [[?]].

With love -- William
