It seems that probably I put that important letter in my pocket instead of the mail box. I expected to find the extra money in the London office and having failed to wrote back to Paris for them to forward any order received that was ten days ago. Then seeing such reports of the American Markets I became [[strikethru]] arla [[/strikethru]] alarmed and hope that you are not entangled in the affairs. Just cable me if you are. And for allowance if I took nice lodgings that the Fords know of I could live on sixty dollars a month everything paid. [[strikethrough]] And [[/strikethrough]] I am set on staying here and trying to get up. I got no answers to my advertisement for a studio. If you have not sent on some extra cash please do so as soon as possible but no more than you can afford. I am getting painfully poor
