is choice select - Last night I was invited to "The Langham Club" - the oldest art club in London - I was fortunate having been introduced on this evening; and at the right time it proved to be for most of the members forty were rather mellow in song and other things. I was presented by Ashburner and Stevenson we first took dinner at Gatti's, and they introduced me to a number of chaps there - Then we strolled across the Lecesister [[Leicester]] Gardens - Regent Street to the Langham - I am still congratulating myself on the way I took on. Your bald-headed son on walking [[strikethrough]] came to the [[/strikethrough]] thro' several rooms entered the concert room which was crowded with artists and smoke
