Which had set a brush fire.

Wednesday evening I enjoyed myself immensely at the Britohards. All the family were well and we played games told stories and made merry in other ways. I am sending over three pictures; copies from the National Gallery; shall start them a week from today. The weather here is much brighter. We have little frost. Winters are really too mild. Mr. P is a laughable, - old man. Dresses as H. Warren would, but is very charitable to all the poor. Two of the Turners were there tonight, and one that looks about twenty one took my breath away by informing me she was 34, and her sister 8 years younger. Both are rather ______ problems--

How are Father and yourself the girls and brothers? Take care and avoid the griffe. Tis in the air, and we are informed dealing heavy blows to citizens of your country. My health is sound and my disposition kind. Tomorrow to the Chamberlains I go; and shall describe the event later. Keep on reminding me of my social obligations work to if makes me feel at home and does me ______ of good.
