My studio is large, well lighted, not to [[too]] large to heat comfortably in winter. Has a balcony which runs all around the top, is painted a light gray and has a rich colored wooden floor. It is near the Luxembourg Gardens is near the Latin Quarter. The building is the most Sanitary I have seen, and is kept in order by a janitor, who for two dollars a month keeps ones studio clean. It is in every way desirable and cheap costing [[strikethrough]]$ [[/strikethrough]] 800 francs a year or $160. I may go half in it with a young English man named Stone [[strikethrough]] w [[/strikethrough]] but shall talk with Bob first. 

This boarding place I am in now is fine. Am saving just [[strikethrough]] th [[/strikethrough]] twenty dollars a month and it is better in every way than the old place.

That was funny about Marions [[Marion's]] pets. I think that if I had my choice I would not travel with Bob this Summer. I have seen the Rhine. I could go to Switzerland on the big excursion next year when I go to Italy, and although we would have a gay time it for me is a waste of money and time.
