TELEGRAMM-ADRESSE:
Savoyhotel - Berlin.

My Dear Mother

Address me c/o Pension Frl. A. v Engelbrecht, N. W. 36 Dorotheen Str., where I have taken rooms. Uncle Arthur called this morning and took me to this pension. Earlier I had looked at the address given by Mr. Wendte and found the lady had moved, or gone out of business. The address where Mrs. [[Peter]] stopped seemed way out of town. So I had to go to this other place that I have to pay 140 M. per month. But only German is spoken & the location is central, and Uncle Arthur thought the price reasonable, tho about 70 M. higher than in his time. It is the same Pension where Uncle Robert stayed, & later Aunt Hallie and Uncle Arthur, now kept by the niece of the former proprietor.

I am in time for the university. Tho it advertises to begin April 15th no one settles on his lecture or [[regulive]] until May 2nd.

In a hurry because I might go out
