Dear Folks;

Another hot day. Last night ma couldn't sleep in the hot upstairs and came down and slept till after midnight on the porch. She said she is going to do likewise tonight. So you see it really is hot here. It reminds me more than ever of California daytimes. You put your wash out and it is all dry in an hour. I wonder what you can be enduring in Wash. D.C.? 

I haven't felt like painting blinds yet, as it is cooler indoors. This morning I cleaned ma's room
