find any sweets. I am glad you are bringing up the paper. 10¢ a roll is robbery. Wish you could bring me more soap, if we can spare it or you can get more. If you see any eggs on the way cheap, bring them too. I haven't bought any since you left & still have a half dozen. We shall have a time eating pears. I will preserve some. You could bring pint jars, a few, a boxful. May be I can get wild grapes & make preserve. 

The old cat is still feasting on haddock heads. He won't eat even the freshest liver without much prodding & fasting. That dose of old liver has sickened him for good, I fear.
