Stoughton Mass Tues 27 Aug. 1940 Dear Sid: This is my last card before you come up. There isn't much to add, - be sure you shut up the house, etc. and don't go too fast coming up, - be careful. Doris wants you not to forget her blue yarn. Don't forget the tomatoes, - there are some out by the forsythia bush, I expect, as well as back of the garage. Bring up your dirty clothes too. It is a rainy day here again, regular north easter, so much rain and cold weather. We may go to B. to get material for making a skirt for me and a pattern for D.'s left over material for a sleeveless jacket. Will try to pick up some groceries en route. Daddy- Aunt Maude gave me a lovely necklace last night. The boys have tried to come over, but we were out mowing. Be awfully careful when you come up. Dot.
