Dear Sid:

Got your Sunday card today. Glad you arrived so early safely. You didn't strike rain? Here it is a northeast storm all the afternoon, but we worked mowing & cutting down trees all the forenoon. Predictions are for continued rain tomorrow & if so we may go hunting for a raincoat tomorrow. Doris has been patching up her dresses with her Grandma's Pulp this P.M. and now has gone over to see Norma a little before bedtime. The old cat has climbed up into my lap, - it being chilly tonight. How is your foot, does it still twinge when you step on the heel?

Doris.
